mmmm...birdbath, but birds do like their baths don't they-that is if they're anything like our garden bird hehe, -i can almost feel the warm moisture coming from the steam, and i like the look of pure contentment on Mati's face.

hehe, don't worry about it-i often only visit back here now and then-or when i remember to! i have read some of your southwinds story and it's really coming along great. saying that, it's been a long time since i made any pics of my own other Avian race-the Avarans-but i do now have one new-ish one titled Talon's Reach-in an attempt to try doing in pic in a more 'cartoony' style-which was a heck of a lot quicker than the more 'realistic, more detailed pics. whoo.

It is interesting to see how much work you put into this piece in particular, those very nicely detailed pictursed are coming back more or less. What else to say? The bath,, Mati's expression of pure pleasure, the colors of the room, the traditional round place, the jar, the candles, the waterfall and the details in the walls, all are awesome!

It is certainly a reemergence of intertest in the more painted style works, partly because it does allow a more freeform feel than the strict lined work I've been doing recently. I can say in terms of detail, that it feels far looser than some of the earliest works, but maybe that's just because I'm getting better at doing them X3 It is nice to get back to these, in any case ^v^

All in all, I feel this was probably the most evocative picture of Mati I've done simply becasue there's something deeply warm and private about this whole scene. Everything you've mentioned adds to that for me and I'm happy it does for you as well! ^v^

Of course it is nice to get too see these, but Mati is taking the cake from all those other girls, you could also portray objectively interestin scenes involving some of your characters based on your story in this way "The last supper by corrvo" haha something like that.

Of course all the place was very well thought man it is one of your finest in painted style ones ^v^ We also get to see some more of the architecture and art through these kind of pictures in an impressionist way.

Mati looks so lovely and soft, as usual, and the atmosphere was set up so nicely. You painted this so well my friend, and there are very few things I wouldn't give to be with her ^V^
