to celebrate his new feathery character of the same name: Ruqyo Highsong, a Formosan Blue Magpie.
Ironically, unlike my other birds, none of which I've actually seen the base species of, I have seen a few of these Blue Magpies while I was in Taiwan a while back! They really are striking birds!
