The Artimea Large Multispectral Array (ALMA for short [not the Atacama Large Milimeter Array]); designed, constructed and operated using bird-brains and feathers. Mindblowing awesome!
Not just the concept but the artwork is brilliant too! Mr. Corrvo, you are the only one who has anthropormorphized avian physiology to such a successful extent; bloody good work! I am just so going to start spam-clicking the favorite button on your artwork now.
And yeah-ish owo I just notice it 'cause you just drew the lil crusers-ish holograms on the board owo and also its one of my fav ship desings x3 owo You my birdy buddy, are one of the awesomeness artis I've ever seen!
Impressive owl the design is indeed clever it really serves its purpose especially in the job Rhea is doing. (moon name..., getting a little shorter on them or just coincidence? However the latter is most unlikely given the assumption of the knowledge you posses)
What got me laughing anyway is the "stellar cartography" room. It reminds me of that cool cilindrical room in Star Trek Generations.
They might as well be setting the course of a gravitational anomaly and courses into inhabited colonies.
It's a very nice addition to your work and worldbuilding as well, you gave the propper attention to the subject.
There is though something that excells for me on this pic above everything and that is the expression Rhea has. Real effort went into that one and it was time to change the moods of your characters, it really adds to the context in which everything is playing out, of course there had been signs of expressions changing, but as of this momment this is the most dynamic one I've seen.
Curious, some of the series villains are so spectacular they well deserve to appear in the following KFP movie: Tau Tai the boar, Scorpion, Owl... Scorpion always has been my favorite... I must confess I like scorpions: [link] In fact, I sketched a series of tales with them... aeons ago. It was intended to form a children's book to be entitled "Little Danielle and the scorpions" The girl choses not to kill a scorpion she finds in her room and the grateful creature (plus some friends) turn into her protectors, chums... and source of all kind of mischief... as when a female scorpion that's hidden in Danielle's pocket to go to the school party slips and falls to the punch bowm... emerging totally drunk!
Oh man, that is awesome, bro. Got to say, owls seem really hard to draw with their different facial structures, but you have adapted him to your style just amazingly. ^v^
Also, got to love his outfit, very stylish. The gold circlets around his neck and waist are great little accents to it. ^v^
Plus, and here's my ubiquitous ramblings about the background details again, the lighting effects, the constellations on the screen, all add a great sense to the pic, like the perfect way to view star charts. ^v^
